Cum toamna ne obligă să ne retragem în cotloane acoperite, venim cu un gând bun și cu intenția de a promova mușchiul artistic românesc.

A doua adunare este pe data de 15 octombrie la CoolCat unde vă așteptăm, începînd cu ora 22.00, pentru a sustine și promova mușchiul local, la doar 5 lei kilu.

Dacă intenția noastră rezonează cu vibe-ul inimii voastre (bwaaahaah! tare asta), treceți pe la noi să bem o bere și să povestim despre cum putem lucra mușchiul împreună.

Dropdread si-a inceput activitate ca DJ de drum&bass in 2004 si in acelasi timp o miscare in jurul muzicii ei preferate. Cativa ani mai tarziu aceasta miscare s-a transformat in ceva mai mare, aducand din ce in ce mai multi fani ai bass-ului cu fiecare eveniment.

Bucurestiul si-a conectat urechile pentru prima oara la seturi live din partea unor artisti precum Mary Anne Hobbs, Dj Hype & MC Daddy Earl, Foreign Beggars, Joker & MC Nomad, Noisia, Bailey, Hazard, Silent Witness, Donny, Robyn Chaos, Machine Code, Bong-Ra, CounterStrike, The Sect, Raiden, SPL, Erb’n'Dub&MC Navigator, Reso, Funtcase, JFB, D-Kay, Clipz, SP:MC, MC Wrec, MC Jakes, TC, Balkansky, Audio, Forbidden Society si multi altii. Petrecerile inca continua si astazi cu seria locala Therapy Sessions in colaborare cu Anger Management si Freak Recordings.

Dani a început activitatea muzicală în 2004 la Craiova. De-a lungul timpului în seturile sale şi-au facut loc, pe lângă breakbeat, drum and bass, dubstep şi piese de din zona UK dub, roots reggae, grime şi ragga-jungle. Cu un respect pentru toate genurile muzicale, Dani şi-a găsit locul în segmentul electronic.

În 2008 începe şi producţia muzicală astfel fiind lansat, la sfârşitul anului, primul remix drum and bass “Nneka – Suffri (dani overdub dnb refix)”. Din 2009, numele său apare pe afişele party-urilor din Bucureşti şi din ţară – Fabrica, Baraka, Elephant Pub, Suburbia, Goblin, Ground Zero, One Love, Reggae pon di Hills, Iarmaroc, Summer Jam şi Arenele Romane sunt o parte din locaţiile unde a pus muzica, împărţind scena cu artişti precum: NERO, Vibronics, Mungo’s Hi Fi, Mc Soom-T, Tippa Irie, Electrosoul System.
În prezent, seturile sale sunt predominate de dub, roots reggae, dubstep, bassline şi jump up

Satul Slon, aflat in judetul Prahova, la 70 de km de Ploiesti pare un sat ca oricare altul. Daca te-ai afla doar in trecere, privind doar oamenii instariti din acest sat,
n-ai reusi sa intelegi ca 'peste deal' exista aproximativ 100 de familii aflate in dificultate, fara curent electric, fara drum de acces, fara scoala si fara cele necesare unui trai decent.
Am fost acolo, un grup de prieteni si cel mai mult ne-au impresionat copii.
Au venit la noi, ne-au zambit si ne-au convins sa mai venim odata.
De data asta insa, nu ne vom afla doar in trecere: vom merge pentru ai face sa zambeasca de ziua lor. In acest sens vom organiza un eveniment in data de 8 mai la COOL CAT, strada Gabroveni nr. 13, in cadrul caruia vom strange de la fiecare dintre participanti o jucarie, o hainuta, o carticica sau dulciuri si le vom darui lor in data de 1 iunie. Daca totusi nu reusiti sa ajungeti la eveniment si doriti sa ajutati acesti copii, puteti aduce donatiile si la Centrul Ceh, strada Ion Ghica nr.11, de luni pana vineri intre orele 10.00-18.00 pana in data de 28 mai.

DELANEY DAVIDSON

In a country infamous for deep south ghosts, New Zealand...A landscape alive…The sound of the sea, a harbour in the dead of night..

These are moods in the music of Delaney Davidson and he describes these things as part of growing up for him..A restless feeling, a life of travelling from the age of one when his parents put him in a shoe box and drove him even further south.

Leaving school at age fourteen and starting his own ramblings, he played music from Sao Paolo to St Petersburg, and from Leeds to Timaru, and has played as guest for many bands including the Reverend Beatman, both live and in the studio, aswell as Zeno Tornado. Performing in the Basel Stadt Theatre's "Drei Groschen Oper" he is also at home in the theatre, and his eerie music is also well suited to film soundtrack.

Basing himself now in New Zealand and Switzerland, he toured with cult legends Dead Brothers and was instrumental in the sublime "Wunderkammer" album(Voodoo Rhythm), playing singing saw, lap steel, drums and vocals.

He also played lead role as jail bird Parrish in Marc Littlers film-noircotic odessy "The Road to Nod" (Slowboat Films) premiering on 28th july 2007, and has also starred in Slowboat films "VOODOO RHYTHM, The gospel of Primitive Rock and Roll", aswell as the feature length documentary on the Dead Brothers "Death Is Not The End".

Delaney now returns to his solo work. Having completed three successful solo European tours he is currently planning his fourth. He has supported bands such as mystic dark folkers Wovenhand, alternative song masters Tex Perkins and Tim Robbins in their T&T duo, and was invited to tour the USA in 2008 with Queen of the Underground Holly Golightly and the Broke Offs, where He attracted rave reviews and was been invited back to attend the SteelBridge SongFestival in Wisconson 2009. Delaney has just completed his second tour of the USA, establishing himself deeper into the roots of the landscape that his musical influences stem from, and finding a firm foothold in the terrain of western, blues and roots folk music.

Last year saw him release his second solo album Ghost Songs independently, and this year he is planning to release his third solo album on Voodoo Rhythm Records in October, aswell as a split single with the Reverend Beatman.
